ON VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPHY

"I think, the older a photograph is, the more interesting it gets."

In photography, vintage prints are defined as the earliest prints that the photographer makes soon after developing a negative. This exhibition shows vintage photographs which the photographer has printed in the same year when he shot the picture.

In the art market, vintage prints are considered original pieces of art.

Over the years, these artworks have been increasingly difficult to source and we are happy to compose this presentation exactly 30 years after the photographs have been shot. This is a unique opportunity for art lovers and collectors to expand their knowledge about fine photography and the diversity of vintage prints.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards,

Viola Winokan
